Want to improve your ability to speak French outside of a classroom setting? Need to brush up your French for a holiday or business trip? Looking for opportunities to practise your French? Emmanuelle offers a number of ways that can help you:
Le cercle français
Le cercle français is a social group for people who want to improve or maintain their French speaking skills in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The group meets every other Saturday from 11 am to 12:30 pm in Great Malvern. No minimum level of French is required, but participants must be willing to converse in French. If you would like to join le cercle français please contact Emmanuelle for the date and venue of the next meeting.
Let's Talk!
Let's Talk is, as the name implies, face-to-face conversation between you and Emmanuelle. A reasonable knowledge of spoken French (intermediate and above) is expected. Though informal, the session is structured around a pre-selected topic as the focus of the conversation, which can be supplemented by material from relevant newspapers and magazines. There is little homework involved except for reading the article sent to you beforehand.
Crash course
The crash course is an intensive lesson or programme of lessons that is tailored to your specific needs. Perhaps you are travelling to France or a French-speaking country at short notice for business or a holiday? Or perhaps you need to demonstrate a good level of French for an interview? The frequency of the lessons will be determined by your initial level of French, the level you wish to attain and of course the time that you have available.
La Jolie Ronde
Emmanuelle is also a certified licensee for La Jolie Ronde, which is the UK's leading early language learning organisation recognised by government agencies for its famous and proven method of teaching languages to 5 to 11 year old children. Emmanuelle is currently teaching at one of the local primary schools in Malvern, but external sessions unconnected with any school can also be organised given a sufficient number of children. If you are interested, please contact Emmanuelle for further details.
