Translation is not just about turning text from one language into another as anyone who has used an on-line automatic translator will know! High quality translation requires, in addition to fluency in the given languages, a thorough understanding of the country's culture and of its idioms. Emmanuelle is fully fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. She is a native French speaker (born in Paris) and English has been her professional working language since 1995. Emmanuelle is a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, an associate of the Institute of Translation & Interpreting and an active member of its French Network.

Emmanuelle is able to translate a wide variety of documents from market research materials to specialised technical engineering reports, from an on-line questionnaire to a scholarly monograph.
